Interim Production Manager

Urban started designing manufacturing equipment and quickly progressed to quality manager for a company producing technical components for the manufacturing industry. His career took off and he was given his own PnL, responsibility for four manufacturing units and staff responsibility for 100 people. Due to the high measurable positive impact of his work, he was offered the job of Technical Manager with responsibility for the company's development unit and personnel responsibility over 50 people. He was then promoted to Technical Manager for EMEA and then Production Development Manager for the same region before being externally recruited to a global white goods company. Here, for the last 5 years, he has had overall responsibility as Production Development Manager as well as Technical Director. After a successful career, he has now decided to work as an interim manager and is looking for his first assignment.

With a technical interest at the core, Urban prefers to work operationally and lead his staff from the front. He is particularly suited to be hired as an interim operational manager, technical manager, manager of a production operation or for an R&D department, preferably in a technically advanced company. Urban may also be interesting for a CEO role in a medium-sized manufacturing company.
