Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Manager, Architecture & External Development to a manufacturing company in Norrland.
The assignment involves working as Interim Manager in Architecture & External Development (group manager position 1st line) with responsibility for about 8 people.
The department is not yet established but a framework with content and scope exists. At present, there is no need for further recruitment, but the department's resources
will consist of resources transferred from other design sections.
Main duties:
The role of Head of Architecture and External Development is largely about initially
together with their team, find and shape the new department based on the intended direction.
The main focus of the department will consist of:
External Development
- Drive the external development parts of the mechanics section together with others
departments within the company to both Swedish and foreign suppliers.
Architects
- System architects in mechanics.
Strategies & R&D
- Coordinating the ongoing R&D work of the Mechanics section.
Export classification
- Ongoing management of export classification and supporting the export control department.
Standardization
- Reintroduce active standardization work in different areas.
- It also involves a lot of contact with specialists in materials, surface treatment and ”future production technologies”.
To be eligible for the role:
- As a manager, you do not need to be deeply familiar with the technical details, but that you have a
understanding of product development is preferred. - The assessment is that you should have at least 2-3 years of leadership experience in project and/or
line shape. - A university or civil engineering degree is a suitable background with good knowledge of both
spoken and written Swedish and English. - To be able to cope with the service, presence on site will be required 3-4 days a week, although there will
