Interim Search AB has been commissioned to appoint an interim Business Area manager for transportation and logistics.
Main duties:
- Business Area Manager - Transport Management.
- Manager of 3-4 team members.
- Responsibility over the transport budget of the company.
- Responsibility over distribution development.
- Develops and packages the “Transport Management” area”
- Managing and implementing Transport Procurement.
- Control and follow-up of transport invoices and follow-up of carriers.
- Procurement of transport.
- Conducting appraisals, salary setting, etc.
To be eligible for the role:
- Have a university or college degree in the relevant field for the position.
- Have a few years of work experience in optimizing the transport and distribution of products. It is a big plus if you also have experience in customs handling issues.
- Have a professional knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English.
- Good experience in transportation and logistics including 3PL solutions.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- The assignment is initially an interim solution but will lead to a permanent role.
About the process:
