Interim Business Area Manager - Transport Management

Main duties:

• Business Area Manager - Transport Management.
• Manager of 3-4 team members.
• Responsibility over the transport budget of the company.
• Responsibility over distribution development.
• Develops and packages the “Transport Management” area”
• Managing and implementing Transport Procurement.
• Control and follow-up of transport invoices and follow-up of carriers.
• Procurement of transport.
• Conducting appraisals, salary setting, etc.

To be eligible for the role:

• Have a university or college degree in the relevant field for the position.
• Have a few years of work experience in optimizing the transport and distribution of products. It is a big plus if you also have experience in customs handling issues.
• Have a professional knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Good experience in transportation and logistics including 3PL solutions.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• The assignment is initially an interim solution but will lead to a permanent role.

About the process:
