Interim Group Assembly & Installation Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Group Assembly & Installation Manager for a international company with HQ in Gothenburg. You report to the Group COO.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate assembly and installation activities across the group.
- According to project timelines together with local Assembly & Installation.
- Ensure delivery of projects according to time, quality, budget and
customer requirements. - Develop an “S&OP process” for assembly & installation.
- Develop common tools to be used for planning and following up assembly
projects. - Oversee workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to create flexibility
within the group. Close cooperation with Regional Directors & Sales Managers
on forecasting resource allocation. - Procurement of subcontractors providing installation services resources.
- Close collaboration with Production Managers to secure alignment of quality
standards and efficiency. - Ensure quality control during assembly and installation stage.
- Implement process improvements for quality, efficiency and safety.
Requirements:
- Background in the infrastructure sector (Mark & Anläggning) as
Entreprenadingenjör, Platschef, Entreprenadchef or equivalent experience. - Good understanding of manufacturing and installation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Solid safety and quality control knowledge.
- Strong project management skills and coordination capabilities.
- Solid financial acumen with experience in P&L ownership, financial follow – up and cost control.
- High proficiency in IT planning and project management tools.
- Leadership skills; experience as line manager and ability to build trusted relationship. Experience from international organisations is a merit.
