Interim Plant Manager Norway
Interim Search has been commissioned to find a Plant Manager for a customer based in the Stavanger Area, Norway. The plant is a part of a larger Group with approx 8000 emplyees and +100 manufacturing facilities globally.
Ansvarsområder:
Plant Manager is responsible for the plant having approx 30 employees.
The manager participates in the strategic direction of the industrial operation and is directly responsible for production, maintenance of production equipment, buildings, quality & process and continuous improvement of the plant. Of particular note is the responsibility for the safety and health of the employees. The functions of local purchasing and loading are also part of the area of responsibility.
Success criterias for the role:
- To establish and stabilise local KPI’s, to understand the economic outcome from the KPIs
- To improve and stabilise the production process and to deliver the required quantities in the defined quality at the planned costs
- Further implementation of a continuous improvement process to optimise costs
- Improve culture/mentality locally when it comes to problem solving
- Create trust and engagement in the team locally; improve leadership and delegating responsibility
- Establish business thinking, deployed in the local organisation
- Having built strong relations internally with stakeholders and externally with government and local neighbours
For å være kvalifisert for rollen:
- Several years of industrial management experience
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, process engineering, maintenance and SHEQ
- Experience from working in Norway and an international environment, preferably in a matrix organisation
- Experience in change processes and change management
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of SAP, ERP-systems
- Very good in Norwegian and English
- Degree in engineering preferred: mechanical, marine, chemical or similar relevant background
Om prosessen:
The assignment starts as soon as possible and is expected to last for 12 months. The assignment requires physical presence at the plant 3 days per week.
