Interim Business/Financial Controller
Interim Search has been commissioned to find a Business/Financial Controller to a leading company which offers services in an innovation industrial company. The assignment can be performed 50% remotely and the remaining 50% at the place of assignment.
Primary responsibilities:
- In this position you will form an important part of the Business Areas Financial control function.
- You will manage the budget and forecast process for their management functions and participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
- You are a part of maintaining and developing the Business Areas financial policies and procedures.
- You play an important role in analyzing the application of those policies and plans, perform Business Area wide reviews and trainings accordingly.
- As the organization constantly working towards continuous improvements, they also run projects on their own initiative and on a regular basis in collaboration with other functions.
To be eligible for the role:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or the equivalent knowledge gained from work and a few years’ experience as a Financial Controller.
- You are well acquainted with SAP, Excel and Power BI, while experience from major consolidation systems, like OneStream or BPC is an advantage.
- A common understanding of IFRS is required, as well as detailed knowledge of IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and/or IFRS 16 is a plus.
- Excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing.
- While keeping a strategic and holistic view, you focus on the details and show the ability to handle a large amount of information.
- You are communicative and collaborative, features that enable you to easily build and maintain a strong network in multicultural surroundings.
