Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim CEO to a manufacturing company in Småland with a turnover of approximately SEK 250 million and around 150 employees.
Main duties:
- Overall responsibility for the company, which entails comprehensive responsibility for the companies' sales and business development, production, technology, purchasing, and overall financial responsibility.
- Reports to the CEO and the Board of Directors.
- Develop and lead the company in a prudent and balanced manner until a permanent CEO is in place.
- The CEO will work alongside a competent, committed, and experienced management team with many years of experience within the companies.
- The CEO must be highly interested in leading through people development and have the ability to support the company's sales and marketing efforts.
- Be active in contacts with major important customers and in the process of processing and visiting prospects.
- The CEO must also have the ability to stimulate continuous improvements in the business.
- Lead the company based on the objectives and visions set by the CEO and the Board of Directors.
- The position involves some travel to customers and suppliers.
Who we are looking for
- To succeed in the position of CEO, several years of experience in a senior position within the manufacturing industry is required.
- The CEO must be business- and sales-oriented and have a clear and modern leadership style.
- It is important to be able to work independently and take initiative in your role, and to be able to communicate with, engage, and motivate your colleagues. It is important to have strong and clear leadership skills and experience from production in a company where a ”normal working day” means focusing on efficiency, delivery reliability, and quality.
- This role requires experience in driving change and customer order-driven production, as well as familiarity with efficient manufacturing processes in order to engage and involve staff and create an understanding of continuous improvement.
- The CEO must be communicative and have the ability to build good relationships both externally and internally.
- The CEO must be accustomed to dealing and doing business with large international customers.
- The appropriate education for this role is a good technical education, preferably a master's degree in engineering or a bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Completely fluent in English, both spoken and written.
About the process:
The assignment is expected to last approximately six months, starting no later than the beginning of February.
