Interim Search has been asked to recruit an interim Operational Excellence Manager to the head office in Stockholm. Gränges is a global leader in aluminum engineering, manufacturing, and innovation. Gränges is a global group with approximately 1,500 employees and net sales of more than SEK 10 billion.
The assignment for the right candidate will be:
- High-level follow-up of the progress of implementation of the operational model and tools by means of an audit system that will be provided by a consultant firm.
- Propose corrective and improvement actions where necessary.
- Organize benchmarking and cross-learning between the different organizations
- Document OPEX achievements through cases for learning and communication purposes
- Follow up and report the financial results from OPEX achievements
This is a high-level, international position reporting directly to Group Management. More specifically, the right candidate needs to meet the following requirements:
- Very structured and systematic thinker with an analytical mindset
- Good communication skills
- People person with affinity for and thorough knowledge of factory floor and industrial processes
- Lean manufacturing knowledge and/or ability to quickly grasp the concepts
- Self-driven and independent
- High level of mobility for 24 months
- 2-5 years of past work experience in a similar position
- English and preferably also Swedish language
