Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint a logistics manager for a design electronics company located in central Stockholm. The company has a turnover of approximately SEK 80 million and 30 employees.
The company is experiencing strong growth and now needs an interim logistics manager to lead and manage the flows between production in Asia and sales operations via the online store and retail outlets. The role involves responsibility for warehousing, logistics, and returns management.
Main duties are:
- Overall responsibility for storage locations
- Developing and improving existing processes and finding new ways of working
- Main contact for all warehouses, including agreements, monthly reconciliations, optimization, and inventory
- Strategic planning and monitoring of the company's delivery rules
- Warehouse relocations
- Order processing
- Negotiate logistics agreements
- ERP systems, development, and maintenance
- Returns management including goods tracking
You probably have an academic degree in economics/logistics and have worked for at least 5 years in logistics/supply chain. International experience, preferably from working in Asia, is necessary. The company is young and entrepreneurial, and you should thrive in such an environment. Good communication skills are important, especially in English and Swedish.
The assignment is for 4-5 months. Candidates will be presented on an ongoing basis and the position will be filled as soon as possible. The deadline for applications is July 8, 2016.
