Interim Business Controller
Interim Search has been entrusted with appointing a Business Controller to a smaller listed company wit turnover around 250 MSEK. The company has office all over Europe. You are responsible to manage & upport all BU revenue- and
expense-reporting, ensuring control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of figures, analysis and comments.
Work description:
- Manage all operational financial reporting and analysis for one Business Unit, thereby ensuring control, accuracy, development and predictability and timely delivery of results , comparative analysis and commentary to BU leaders and Finance team.
- Understand business/economic/environmental drivers of Actual results versus Operating Plan and Forecast.
- Ensure financial planning processes– strategically capture, carefully estimate and skilfully communicate business impacting events.
- Anticipate changes, seek better practices and contribute to the company as a whole to be successful in its aims.
- Ensure all local, regional and corporate reporting for BU is completed accurately and on-time as directed.
- Support BU in pursuit financial targets through in-depth analysis and sharing of financial knowledge.
To be available for the role:
- Several years of Experience from Business controlling Solid Finance background with preferably experience from various subdisciplines/parts in Finance local accounting, Group consolidation, business and finance controlling etc.
- Bachelor (or higher degree) in Business Administration or Economics.
- Solid analytical thinking and skills – ability to formulate and understand business issues, situations or problems by breaking them down into smaller parts and analyse them. Interpret data and draw conclusions and provide focused guidance.
- Presentation experience- of analysis and target follow-up to Leadership Teams.
- Quality Awareness – Driven by the desire to identify, prioritize and maintain standards in order to meet internal and external demands.
- Flexibility – the ability to live and act in a climate of change. Handle stress and demands in a calm thoughtful manner with the ability to prioritize, monitor and control operations.
- Service minded – Aim to exceed BU support requirements and expectations. Have strong customer focus, creates value for the supported BU.
- Initiative and responsibility – Willingness to act pro-actively by identifying opportunities and anticipate changes.
