Interim Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist reports to the CHRO and is responsible for implementing the Group's payroll strategy. Responsible for ensuring that payroll work is carried out efficiently and in accordance with applicable legislation. Ensures that the correct salaries are paid on time and that other reporting is carried out in accordance with established procedures.

Main duties:

• Responsible for the Group's payroll process and administers master data.
• Acts as superuser in the payroll system and ensures that the company makes full use of all functionality and works efficiently in the system.
• Responsible for the ”sweden.payroll” inbox and ensuring that employees and managers receive prompt responses to payroll-related questions.
• Responsible for ensuring that the company complies with personal data laws (GDPR) regarding the handling and storage of salary and personal data.
• Responsible for payroll-related reconciliations and internal/external statistics.
• Collaborates with the finance department, assists with monthly accounts and auditing.
• Responsible for contact with external parties such as the Swedish Tax Agency, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and the Swedish Enforcement Authority.
• Responsible for establishing and updating an internal Salary Manual.
• Trains and coaches managers within their field of work and creates training materials and procedures.

To be eligible for the role:

• Several years of experience in similar roles with responsibility for the company's payroll process and payroll administration.
• Knowledge of labor law, collective agreements, and GDPR Business-minded.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and communicative.
