Interim Business Unit Director & General Manager

Main duties:

General Manager

• Coordinates the Country from a cross-functional perspective, ensuring full teamwork across all BUs and support functions.
• Line Manager and responsible for supporting functions such as local Finance, HR, Health & Safety, and Marketing
• Legal responsibility from a tax, balance sheet, compliance, and health and safety perspective

Business Unit Director

• Local ownership of the Business Unit, driving gross profit, revenue, and margins for the entire business segment
• Full P&L responsibility for own unit/business segment
• Define and implement the agreed Country business unit plan (as part of the Group Business unit strategy)
• Support our Product & Solutions Development Process by providing the Business Unit with any customer or stakeholder insights that arise throughout the country.
• Implement the BU Sales/channel strategy in assigned country, campaigns, and activities

To be eligible for the role:

• University degree or equivalent
• High level of general business and financial understanding
• 5+ years of P&L Management
• 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, product management in a technical sales environment
• Solid management experience and proven track record as a leader and communicator
• Proven track record in achieving results and profitable growth

About the process:

The assignment is expected to start by mid-June at the latest, preferably earlier, and will last for at least six months while a permanent General Manager is sought.
