Interim Work Environment Coordinator

Main responsibilities and duties:

• You will support and drive forward work environment efforts in the region and assist with expertise in work environment issues.
• Responsible for developing internal procedures for systematic work environment management and ensuring that they are followed in the workplace.
• Monitors laws and regulations in the area of occupational health and safety and informs the rest of the organization about important changes.
• You will design and follow up on goals and action plans in the area of occupational health and safety.
• Act as a contact person for authorities in work environment issues
• You are responsible for compiling and maintaining statistics on accident cases.
• Inform and investigate accidents and serious incidents
• You will plan, conduct, and participate in safety representative meetings and safety representative training courses.

To be eligible for the role:

• You have several years of experience in qualified occupational health and safety work in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
• You have post-secondary education with a focus on occupational health and safety or equivalent.
• You have a genuine interest in workplace environment issues and an understanding of the industry.
• You are a committed, communicative, and self-motivated person who is passionate about workplace issues.
• You are responsible, determined, and possess excellent teaching skills, enabling you to convey important information throughout the organization.
• The position involves regular project visits and therefore requires a driver's license.

About the process:
