Interim Group Reporting Manager

Main responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the notes required for a listed company.
• Preparation of the quarterly financial reporting package in accordance with IFRS and the notes for a listed company.
• Participation in development and maintenance of group accounting policies.
• Responsibility for communication with segment heads of accounting to streamline and reconcile reporting process across group.
• Responsibility for intercompany reconciliation.
• Support the introduction of an ERP system and consolidation software.

To be considered for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles in general and IFRS accounting in particular.
• Knowledge and experience of consolidation.
• Strong Excel skills and basic experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with consolidation software (Cognos Controller, LucaNet, Tagetik) would be an advantage.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field of activity.
• Preferably 2 years with accounting/audit firm and 2 years in-house in company.
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working, initiative and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a team.
• Fluent in English (knowledge of Swedish or Russian would be an advantage).

About the process:

This is a full-time, on-site assignment based in Stockholm, starting in August. The assignment is expected to last approximately 6-8 months. The client would appreciate it if the consultant is open to a permanent position after the interim period, as this is a long-term need.
