Interim Production Leader
Gothenburg | ConfidentialInterim Search has been asked to recruit a Production Leader to a global health company in Gothenburg. You will be responsible for securing the right competence and resources to support R&D in test product manufacturing and specification administration.
The assignment includes securing timely and high quality supply of drawings, specification and prototypes/test products internally in the company. Moreover, you will lead, develop and optimize a team of 15 employees, both specialists and technicians. Safety regulations are also a key area, such as maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety requirements within the team’s operations, as well as securing the working environment through working systematically with risk evaluation, prevention, trainings etc. Further responsibilities are:
- Securing the right competence and resources for test products, specification administration and CAD
- Organizing and providing first line support in specification administration and CAD drawings
- Proactively monitor and maintain agreed performance and delivery standards
- Keep abreast of developments, procedures and practices within own areas to ensure that appropriate methods and tools are adopted and implemented
You have a University Degree or equivalent experience within a technical field and minimum 3 years’ leadership experience and proven strong leadership skills as well as at least 5 years’ experience within Production or R&D. Good understanding of product/material development and business demands on prototyping and specification administration tasks is preferred. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written. As a leader, you are confident and have the ability to engage both key stakeholder audience – as well as your own team. You have courage, a can-do attitude and can comfortably cope with change, shifting gears and navigate others when needed.
