Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Cut Over Lead to a large production company in Stockholm.


The Cut-Over Lead will be responsible for overseeing the successful transition from the old system to the new ERP system. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex projects and a deep understanding of the ERP system and its implementation process. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all activities related to the cut-over process, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations and maximizing the benefits of the new ERP system. Part of your responsibility will be to create a model for cut-over governance & scalability to ensure a success rollout for 40 sites.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a detailed and comprehensive cut-over plan that ensures a smooth transition from the old to the new ERP system.
  • Work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate risks associated with the cut-over process.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of the cut-over plan and their roles and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to ensure that all systems are properly configured and tested prior to the cut-over.
  • Manage the cut-over process, including the migration of data and the deployment of the new system.
  • Monitor the cut-over process to ensure that it is proceeding according to plan and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders on the status of the cut-over process.

 

Key Areas:

  • Cutover Planning: Develop a comprehensive cutover plan that outlines the key milestones, tasks, and dependencies required for a successful transition to the new ERP system.
  • Data Migration: Coordinate data migration activities, ensuring accurate and timely data transfer from legacy systems to the ERP platform. Collaborate with data migration specialists and technical teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to the cutover process and implement mitigation strategies. Proactively address any challenges that may arise during the transition.
  • Go-Live Support: Provide on-site support during the ERP system’s go-live phase, ensuring a smooth transition and immediate issue resolution.
  • Post-Cutover Evaluation: Conduct a post-cutover evaluation to assess the effectiveness of the transition process. Collect feedback and implement improvements as necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience working with ERP systems and a deep understanding of their architecture and functionality.
  • The cut-over lead should have experience with data migration and be able to develop a comprehensive plan for migrating data from the old system to the new one.
  • The cut-over lead should be familiar with testing methodologies and be able to develop a comprehensive testing plan to ensure that the new system is functioning as expected.
  • The cut-over lead should have experience with technical change management and be able to develop a comprehensive plan for managing the transition from the old system to the new one.
  • The cut-over lead should have strong technical skills and be able to work closely with the technical team to ensure that all systems are properly configured and tested prior to the cut-over.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing complex IT projects. With multiple successfull project deliveries.
  • Deep understanding of the ERP systems and its implementation process.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
