You report to EVP Global Supply Chain & Operations

Your organisation Global Technology & Investment (GTI) is responsible for the technical setup of new investments and reinvestments of factories from basic engineering until the factory is set up and ready for production.

 

Main tasks:

• You lead and develop the GTI in tune with the company’s values and leadership behaviors with 6 direct reports placed in three locations. In total heading an organization of 130 people with a global spread (80 employees and 50 consultants)
• You successfully lead the function to navigate and prioritize the right global investments to achieve the strategic and financial targets set by the owners within the strategic time frame.
• You ensure relevant project management, process improvements and steering committee forums with key stakeholders cross-functionally to carefully monitor the execution of investments in accordance with set KPIs and objectives. If needed, ensure that reallocation of resources is managed optimally in tune with business priorities to fulfill the strategic objective
• You are a sounding board to the business units and ensure a close collaboration with all stakeholders in chosen investments
• You work as the strategic spider in the net between innovation, business and technology
• You contribute actively to the development of the team with specific responsibility for leading digital transformation and sustainability initiatives.
• You report GTI initiatives to the Board of Directors of the company
• You ensure proactive controlling of GTI portfolio management
• As part of the company’s Extended Management Team you contribute to the overall development of the company, sharing best practice and lessons learnt cross functionally.

 

To be relevant for the role:

• ​​You have a broad and strategic way of thinking with experience from large organizations, preferably multibillion (SEK) businesses
• You have excellent leadership skills and experience of leadership in a non-Swedish environment
• You have good understanding of global manufacturing, technical development and operational excellence in a matrix environment
• You have proven capabilities in organizing and structuring complex assignments
• You have experience and knowledge in the area of Health and Safety
• You have deep understanding of change management
• You are diplomatic with ability to influence stakeholders
• You are resilient and comfortable in complex, uncertain and ambiguous situations and environments.
• You have process knowledge
• You have a Master of Science or Equivalent (Engineer)
• You have high proficiency in English

 

About the process:
