Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Head of Department Support for a research and education department.
Main responsibilities:;
- Qualified management support to the Head of Department with overall responsibility for administration
- Support the institution's management team
- Plan department meetings, act as convener, and take minutes
- Project management and event planning
- Process and coordinate applications for funding for conference and course participation
- Planning and implementation of research conferences, seminars, lic and dissertations
- Production of various types of statistics
- Administration and coordination in connection with recruitment, as well as support in admission and employment matters
To be eligible for the role;
- Documented experience of qualified administrative work, executive assistant or equivalent
- Good communication and collaboration skills, independence, flexibility, loyalty, and good judgment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
- Post-secondary or higher education
- Experience in higher education and its administrative procedures is an advantage.
About the process;
The assignment is expected to start on February 1 and is estimated to last for 5 months. The position is 60-80% of full-time.
