Interim Search has been tasked with recruiting an Interim VP Culture & Development for a global manufacturing company based in Stockholm.
The VP Culture & Development is responsible and accountable for the delivery of activities within Employee Engagement, Leadership and People Development, Culture, Talent Acquisition and Change Management. This encompasses the responsibility to develop the strategy aligned with the plans of the Business Areas and Group Functions. The role holder will manage the resources and work closely with stakeholders to execute the overall company strategy.
The role reports to the CHRO of the Group and is part of the Group HR Leadership Team and is expected to contribute significantly to the definition of the strategy and the success of the HR function.
Main Tasks
- Set the long-term People plan together with the Group HR Leadership Team to enable the company strategy.
- Define strategic annual priorities for the HR function.
- Lead the Talent Acquisition team and support them in developing and delivering on the talent needs of the business.
- Drive the Employer Branding Strategy for the group, working closely with the Marketing and Internal Communications teams.
- Develop and deliver Group programs for the necessary upskilling of leaders and employees.
- Drive and develop Employee Engagement, with input from the annual Employee Engagement Survey.
To be considered for the role:
- University degree, HR, business, or other relevant fields, strongly preferred.
- 10-15 years, or more experience, in HR management in an international business setting.
- Proven track record of strong leadership capabilities, delivering results using an agile and empowering leadership style.
- Great business understanding – with experience of defining the People angle of the business strategy, as well as successfully executing on that plan.
- Theoretical knowledge and practical experience of change management as well as all talent management practices.
- Experience in successfully managing various stakeholders and business partners at all levels of the organization, as well as external partners.
- Leadership that blends confidence and accountability with empathy, inclusivity, and social intelligence.
About the assignment:
The assignment is planned to last for approximately 12 months full-time, starting in January 2026. Location in Stockholm.
