Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Development Manager to a passenger transport company based in Stockholm. In the role of Interim Development Manager, you will be responsible for successfully driving and leading a large team of staff through a change process. The role is part of the IT management team and reports to the CIO.
Main duties:
- Responsibility for delivery, results, and personnel for a department with approximately 30 employees.
- Develop and quality assure an effective IT strategy and action plan.
- Lead and ensure that the strategy and action plan are in line with the Group's focus.
- Responsible for developing and monitoring the unit's delivery in terms of quality, efficiency, and lead times.
- Responsible for the unit's annual budget in accordance with the Group's objectives.
- Responsibility for the department's supplier agreements.
To be eligible for the role:
- Several years of experience as Development Manager in a large organization.
- Experience as an IT manager/CIO is an advantage.
- Extensive experience as a successful leader of large teams.
- Extensive experience in driving and leading change initiatives.
- Experience of working strategically and tactically in change management.
- Experience of mixed IT landscapes and proprietary solutions is an advantage.
- Experience of various governance models for IT development and management.
- Good ability to compile and present material orally and in writing.
