Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Maintenance Manager for a large, highly automated foundry. The business is based at the company's production site in Småland. In the role of Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in the work with technology development, sustainable production, and increased efficiency. You will be responsible for a maintenance organization by leading other managers. The position entails overall responsibility for both strategic and operational maintenance. You will be part of the local management team and report directly to the Operations Director.

Main duties:

Lead, develop, and inspire the entire maintenance team toward the goal of a highly proactive maintenance organization.
Ensure the highest possible availability and operational reliability in a complex and automated production environment.
Drive improvement initiatives in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, together with knowledge-enhancing efforts.
Implement and further develop processes for TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), LEAN, and digitization within maintenance.
Responsible for the department's budget, investments, resources, and systematic work environment efforts.
Work closely with production, engineering, quality, and external suppliers to ensure the most efficient and sustainable maintenance work.
Actively participate in the company's strategic work and contribute to continued competitiveness and growth.

To be eligible for the role:

Do you have several years of experience (+5 years) in a senior position as maintenance manager in the automotive industry and/or aluminum casting.
Do you have technical training at the high school or college level, with a relevant focus?.
Are you accustomed to working in an automated environment and driving technological development?.
You have a good knowledge of maintenance systems and, preferably, experience of digitalization, AI-based maintenance, or predictive analysis.
Do you have documented leadership experience, are you a change leader, and do you have the ability to create structure, clarity, and commitment?.
Do you have a good habit of leading through other leaders?.
