Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Strategic Purchaser for a large Swedish company that operates globally.
As an interim Strategic Purchaser, you will be part of a team consisting of both strategic and operational purchasers as well as specialists in supply management. The role mainly involves strategic work, but also includes some operational purchasing tasks.
Main duties:
Strategic purchasing
- Market analyses
- Negotiations with suppliers
- Evaluations of deliveries
- Responsibility for financial follow-ups
- Risk management
Operational purchasing
- Order processing
- Negotiations

- Quality assessments
- Follow-ups
- Reporting
To be eligible for the role:
- Relevant engineering education
- 3-5 years of experience in strategic purchasing
- Fluent Swedish and English
- Spotless background
About the process:
The assignment is full-time and can be performed remotely from anywhere in Sweden. The assignment is expected to last 9-12 months with the possibility of extension.
