Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Senior AML Compliance Specialist to a well-established company in the financial sector. You have in-depth expertise in financial crime regulations and experience from banking or insurance operations at group level. You will play a key role in strengthening the organization's compliance with AML and CTF regulations, while supporting group management in matters relating to risk and compliance. You will report to the Group Chief Compliance Officer.
Main duties:
- Drive and develop group-wide work within AML (anti-money laundering) and terrorist financing.
- Support management and the board with a comprehensive and qualified picture of the organization's compliance.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks of non-compliance with financial regulations.
- Contribute to strategic work in the area of financial crime and ensure internal compliance with applicable requirements.
- Independently make qualified decisions and effectively document and communicate the work to relevant stakeholders.
To be eligible for the role:
- Legal university education
- At least 10 years of experience in compliance in the financial sector.
- In-depth knowledge of AML, terrorist financing, and anti-financial crime regulations.
- Solid experience from banking, insurance, or other financial groups, with a complex and regulated environment.
- Previous experience working in the second line of defense is required.
- Meritorious, experience of working in large organizations with complex structures.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
About the process:
The assignment comprises 75–100 % and is planned to last for approximately 9 months, starting on September 1. Candidate presentations will take place on June 17 and interviews will be held on June 18.
