Interim Accounting Consultant

In the role of interim Accounting Consultant, you will work independently in a team with a handful of colleagues in the same role, responsible for the entire accounting process for the agency's clients – from day-to-day bookkeeping to preparing financial statements, annual reports, and tax returns. You will support the business and its clients and be responsible for reporting to management and authorities. The company has growth plans.

Main duties:

• Ongoing reporting and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare annual reports and income tax returns.
• Reporting to management and boards.
• Regulatory reporting.
• Customer service and support.
• Contact with auditors.
• Participate in improvement and digitization processes.

To be eligible for the role:

• Experience from similar assignments/employment as an accounting economist or accounting consultant.
• Experience of working independently with the entire accounting process in accordance with K2 & K3.
• Excellent consultative and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experience working with endowment or fundraising foundations and/or associations is an advantage. 
• Experience working with securities accounting is an advantage. 
• Experience with Visma.net and Fortnox is an advantage.
• Ideally, you are motivated by working in a public service organization. 

The assignment is part-time (50%) and starts on August 18. The assignment is expected to last for 12 months. Hybrid with two days a week on site just south of the city center with the subway right next to the office.
