Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim project engineer contract and ÄTA specialist to a billion-dollar company in Stockholm. As a project engineer, you will be responsible for leading and ensuring compliance with contracts, both overall and at a detailed level. Overall responsibility includes, for example, leading the work with changes, obstacles, and disruptions, and following up on the project's financial development. You will also work to identify risks and opportunities within the project and implement improvements to increase efficiency and ensure high quality.
Main duties:
- Ensure that the pricing of changes, deviations, and disruptions covers the project's costs and generates a good margin by leading, allocating, and following up.
- Monitor and collect data to track the financial impact of UR, ÄTA, and disruptions.
- Report deviations and changes to project management and other parties.
- Ensure that invoicing for contract work and additional work is carried out quickly and efficiently to ensure the profitability of the project.
- Contribute to the preparation of documentation for analysis and coordination of the project's financial reporting, including budget, forecasts, revenue, invoicing, and costs, as well as reports on the project's financial status.
- Ensure that the contract and any amendments to the contract are handled correctly in consultation with legal counsel and project management.
- Support the project organization with your expertise in contracts and agreements.
To be eligible for the role:
- Relevant degree and experience from telecom, installation, construction, and civil engineering projects or similar activities.
- Extensive experience in handling deviations, deviations from the plan, and disruptions.
- Strong knowledge of project administration and contract management, with experience in negotiating and managing contract changes with legal departments and other stakeholders.
- Understanding of processes and project cycles from total and functional contracts, including: design, purchasing, material delivery, installation, testing, service, and maintenance.
- Very good knowledge of construction and contract law.
- Experience in calculating installation work or similar, preferably within electrical and telecommunications, is an advantage.
