Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Production Manager to a company in Östergötland. In the role of Production Manager, you will be part of the unit's management team with overall responsibility for both operational and strategic work. You will be responsible for the continuous development of working methods for the production process, its organization, and employees.
Main responsibilities:
- Be responsible for occupational health and safety and environmental work in the production department and comply with laws, agreements, regulations, and policies. Put health and safety first in every situation.
- Responsible for ensuring that incident reporting and corrective measures are handled in accordance with applicable procedures
- Lead the development of the unit's employees, work processes, and the development of the production facility
- Responsible for drawing up the production budget and following up on it
- Responsible for decisions and improvements in production issues, quality, methods, resources, and organization
- Actively participate and contribute to management work
- Act as project owner/project manager within your own area of work
- Coordination with other units within the company to ensure an efficient flow and holistic perspective in the business.
To be eligible for the role:
- Experience of leading and managing strategic and process-oriented work and a strong track record of driving systematic improvement work
- Very good knowledge of managing production operations
- Results-oriented and communicative team player with good leadership skills
- Ability to switch between strategic and operational tasks and achieve results through inclusive leadership
- Change leader, responsive and unpretentious, with the ability to develop positive relationships and build trust
- Civil engineering or university education with a focus on mechanical engineering or other relevant comparable education and experience
About the assignment:
