Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Nordic Finance Manager to a manufacturing company within FMCG that is part of an international group with a turnover of EUR 750 million and operates in a global market.
Responsibilities:
- With the assistance of the business controller, ensures relevant business control to steer profitability of the Nordic Area
- Organize sharing of good practice within the region and with the group Finance community
- Responsible for the regional finance centers, in accordance with the group standard and strategy
- Together with Country Finance Managers, collect and generate ideas and requirements for group finance and accounting, and support and supervise the country implementation and execution of group projects.
- Develop regional competence centers and ensure sharing of resources with the region and group
In liaison with Country Finance Managers:
- Ensure sufficient resources within the regional Finance community
- Ensure regional resource allocation to support group initiatives following the group strategy
- Identify regional competency profiles and nominate candidates for group initiatives
- Participate in hiring personnel
- Set regional goals for Finance in line with the group strategy
- Introduce and secure implementation of group processes related to finance procedures and align working methods across regional sites to ensure an optimal sharing environment.
- Participate in the Nordic Management Team and ensure the execution of Group and Regional strategy
- Plan and execute budget/estimate process in the Nordic region
- Consolidate figures on a monthly basis and do reporting
- Ensure/supervise the quality of figures
- Secure Analytical analysis of figures (deviation analysis) in the Nordic region
- Support Nordic Area Manager in various tasks
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, preferably in combination with a commercial degree or commercial on-the-job training
• Experience from working in multinational matrix organizations
• +5 years’ experience working within finance in multinational organizations
• +5 years of management experience
• Excellent management practices, bringing good spirit, motivation, and professionalism to the entire organization
• Results-oriented project manager, focusing on meeting quality and deadlines
• Operates regardless of whether matters are operational or strategic
The process:
The assignment is full-time, 6–9 months, and is expected to start on June 1. We will present candidates on May 23, and customer interviews will be held on May 24–25.
