Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Group Accounting Manager to an exciting billion-dollar company in Stockholm.
Main duties:
- Annual report/annual accounts – overall responsibility and notes, keeping to schedule, certain group bookings, audit adjustments.
- Audits, schedule, etc. – Keeping to schedule, dialogue with all auditors
- Internal controls – Own the framework and process, drive improvement, conclusions/presentation.
- Monthly financial statements – legal consolidation of the group.
- Transfer pricing issues – Management fee, MSA, internal interest rates, updating mgm fee upon acquisition, including transfer of any acquisition loans between Swedish entities and acquiring foreign entities.
- Qualified tax issues – interest deductions, individual tax/VAT issues.
- Qualified Accounting Issues.
- Acquisitions – Acquisition bookings, PPAs, acquisition costs in the Group, VAT on acquisition costs.
- No responsibility for staff
To be eligible for the role:
- Has held similar roles at medium-sized/large companies. Experience in a listed environment is a plus.
- Solid accounting experience, including IFRS (IFRS 16 is a plus).
- Experience with acquisitions and PPAs.
- Good understanding of tax and VAT, as well as transfer pricing.
- Experience with Cognos is a plus.
- A combination of high technical expertise and a can-do attitude is a must.
- Can also manage projects.
