Interim Lawyer

Main duties:
The assignment will be divided into four areas:

• Review and compilation of the laws and regulations that the customer must comply with, i.e., a comprehensive regulatory analysis to enable the work to proceed and match these against internal governing documents.
• Review of conflicts of interest, with the aim of identifying that the customer complies with the requirements set out in laws, regulations, and practices in internal governance documents.
• An external analysis of the reporting requirements under the new EBA guidelines on internal control and responsibilities in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing.
• Participate in the onboarding of new recruits, including annual plans and working methods for the entire function.

To be eligible for the role:

• Academic degree in law.
• Documented broad and extensive experience in both establishing and managing a sound compliance structure in organizations that conduct financial activities and are subject to some form of supervision by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
• Experience of publicly owned operations or operations with a high degree of public interest is an advantage.

Furthermore, it is important that you are communicative, have a pragmatic approach, and a good understanding of the challenges of the business in balancing commercialism and ensuring good compliance.

About the process:
The assignment is part-time/hourly and is expected to start immediately and continue until after the summer.
