Interim Group Financial Controller

As Group Financial Controller, you will work closely with the Group CFO in an independent and varied role with responsibility for financial reporting and consolidated accounts. The role includes responsibility for common accounting principles, consolidated accounts, follow-up, and control of financial processes in close collaboration with the subsidiaries' finance managers. The role also includes in-depth financial analysis in close collaboration with the operational business and acts as a link between management and business. The company is growing through acquisitions, and as Group Financial Controller, you are a key person in both the evaluation work and subsequent accounting issues and financial analysis.

Main duties:

• Together with the CFO, establish reporting procedures and follow-up of the Group's results.
• Develop structures and processes for monitoring operating results in the Group's income statement broken down by function.
• Ensure that the group has relevant adjustments to its accounting in line with updated accounting rules within both K3 and IFRS.
• Responsible for completing the group's accounting and reporting manual.
• Responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements, cash flow statements, consolidated annual reports, and reporting to owners.
• Responsible for the Group's forecasting and budgeting process.
• Be involved in evaluating and integrating acquisitions.
• Reporting key figures and KPIs to management and other stakeholders.
• Together with the CFO, drive the process for the carve-out from the previous owner and other improvement projects, as well as initiate, drive, and follow up on ad hoc projects.

To be eligible for the role:

• To succeed in this role, we believe you have a relevant academic background in economics and accounting. You have solid expertise in group accounting and consolidation, as well as a good knowledge of both K3 and IFRS. We believe that you have a background as a financial controller in a business with a strong focus on business, follow-up, and development. Perhaps you also have experience in auditing or as an accounting manager at a medium-sized company?
• Experience in M&A issues, successive profit calculation, and working in an international environment is an advantage. We work in Microsoft Dynamics, Cognos, and Power BI.
• As a person, you are meticulous, structured, analytical, business-minded, and proactive. You have good project management skills and a strong ability to engage colleagues, owners, management, and other stakeholders.
• You have strong personal drive, good communication skills, and a holistic perspective.

About the process:

The assignment is expected to last 3-4 months, starting on December 16. We will present candidates on an ongoing basis, and interviews with the client will take place at the same time. The position is based in Stockholm or Västerås, with the possibility of remote work.
