Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Financial Controller to a rapidly growing group in the retail industry. Annual turnover is SEK 4 billion and the business has 1,000 employees. You will report directly to the Head of Controlling but will also work closely with the company's CFO and others in the finance department.
In the role of Financial Controller, you will work operationally with financial controlling for the entire group, which operates in the Nordic countries.
Main duties:
• Work with internal reporting
• Responsible for and working with budgets, business plans, and forecasting
• Analysis and follow-up of the company's income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Responsible for and operational work with investigation and efficiency projects within the finance function
• Preparation of presentation materials for the company board
Who we are looking for:
To be eligible for the position, you should have solid experience in controlling with a focus on both income statements and balance sheets. You have a good understanding of accounting and are highly proficient in Excel. Industry experience from retail in an international environment is an advantage.
The process:
