Interim Financial Controller

Main duties:

• Independent responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare reports for the board and management team.
• Manage and analyze stored files in Excel – advanced skills required.
• Work with different reporting structures and layouts.
• Produce financial statements and monthly reports.
• Independently handle treasury issues related to loans that need to be renewed, new borrowing to be taken out, control of liquidity risk and interest rate risk, and analysis and calculation of borrowing costs in forecasts and budgets.

To be eligible for the role:

• Solid experience of accounting and reporting in complex organizations.
• Very good knowledge of Excel, including working with large data sets.
• Good understanding of borrowing, treasury functions, and financial reporting.
• Experience with income statements focusing on interest-bearing items.
• Experience working independently with financial statement processes.
• Experience reporting to boards and customized reporting structures.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.

About the process:

The assignment is full-time and starts immediately. The assignment will be carried out approximately 50% at the office (mostly during the introductory period) and is expected to last for 6 months, starting in January.
