Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint a Unit Manager within Social Services at a municipality in Västra Götaland.
Main duties:
- Lead and distribute work within the unit.
- Responsible for managing rent setting in special housing and responsible for administrative support functions.
- And be responsible for exercising authority under the Alcohol Act and the Act on Tobacco and Similar Products.
- Manage processes within the exercise of public authority and be familiar with laws governing the exercise of public authority within social services.
- Work on staff rehabilitation and complete processes.
To be eligible for the role:
- At least 5 years' experience as a manager in social services.
- Academic education, Bachelor of Social Work
- Documented expertise regarding laws governing the exercise of authority by social services. .
- Knowledge of the Alcohol Act (AL) and its application, as well as experience working as an alcohol administrator.
- Experience working with administrative tasks related to the exercise of authority by social services.
- Experience of working with rent setting and good knowledge of rental law (Jordabalken).
- Several years of experience working with change management and delivering results according to defined assignments.
- B driver's license.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time and is expected to last for 6-10 months, starting on March 1.
