Interim Chief Financial Officer

As Interim CFO, you will be part of various management teams. The Finance Department consists of the CFO, the head of the Budget and Finance unit, and three additional units (Financial Management, Purchasing and Procurement, and Accounting). The department has approximately 50 employees.

Main duties:

• Strategic financial management, planning, and follow-up, as well as driving development and change work.
• Create decision-making documentation and processes.
• Create a resource-efficient organization and develop strategies for a balanced economy.
• An essential part of the assignment is to support the CEO and drive the development of subsidiaries.
• Lead management teams.
• Community development, with a focus on financing models and economic analysis.
• Develop proposals for governance models.
• Streamline future costs and reduce them.

To be eligible for the assignment:

• You have previous experience as a CFO or finance manager in public sector operations at the central level.
• You have solid experience in change management.
• You have extensive knowledge of budgeting and accounting at the overall management/group level. You also have knowledge or experience of major investment projects.
• You have experience of extensive and complex planning and preparation processes involving a large number of stakeholders in a politically controlled organization.
• You are used to working towards goals and focus on results, and are driven by a goal- and results-oriented mindset.
• You are communicative, pedagogical, and a confident leader for all instances and target groups.
• Experience working with Raindance, Stratsys, and/or QlikSense is an advantage.

About the process:

The assignment is expected to last for six months, ending in November, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment. Work will be carried out from the office, with the possibility of remote working on Fridays. We will present candidates on an ongoing basis, and interviews with the client will take place in conjunction with this.
