Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Finance Manager to a small start-up company that provides IT products, services, and installation.
The company operates in the Nordic and European markets, has a turnover of approximately SEK 50 million, and is in the process of completing an acquisition in Norway. The assignment can be carried out largely remotely, so location is not a factor. Some travel to the company's office in Småland will be required.
Main duties:
- Responsible for the company's financial function.
- Structure accounting procedures and financial systems to create measurable financial data. The work is done from the ground up, and in this role you are responsible for ensuring that the chain from purchasing to inventory to invoicing is matched and accrued correctly, and that the service and support function is followed up and measured.
- Prepare cost estimates and KPIs.
- Personnel responsibility for one employee (financial assistant who handles ongoing accounting, among other things).
- Participate in the work of integrating the Norwegian company that the client is in the process of acquiring, including analyzing accounts at group level.
To be eligible for the role, you have:
- Previously independently set up/implemented routines and structured financial systems from scratch, as well as established cost calculations and KPIs.
- A holistic perspective on economics and is highly knowledgeable in all areas of the field.
- Had personnel responsibility in a previous role.
- Experience working with Norwegian accounting is highly desirable.
- Experience acting as a sounding board for the CEO regarding general pricing and financing is an advantage.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time with a flexible start date (immediately or after the summer) and is expected to last for at least 6 months, with a good chance of extension. We will present candidates on an ongoing basis and interviews with the client company will take place shortly thereafter.
