Interim Chief Financial Officer

Main duties:

• Responsible for the unit's operations, budget, and personnel, as well as ensuring that operations are conducted as efficiently as possible.
• Responsible for carrying out operational planning, financial planning, accounting, follow-up, and reporting of financial transactions.
• Deliver invoicing, supplier and customer accounts, ongoing accounting, and financial statements.
• Identify new and amended legal requirements within the area of responsibility and, where necessary, draw up proposals for internal governing documents and be responsible for updating these.
• In addition, develop proposals for internal governing documents within the area of responsibility and updates to these.
• Handle and consult on other assignments from the Group Function Governance and Finance, Financial Management unit.
• Participate in the management team for shared services.

To be eligible for the role:

• Several years of experience as a manager in finance and documented experience of operational, budgetary, and personnel responsibility.
• At least 5-10 years of current experience in finance and a relevant academic degree in finance or equivalent work experience.
• Experience of leading a large work group (approx. 20 people) in a managerial role.
• Experience from leading a work group with different professional roles, such as controllers and accounting economists or equivalent, in the role of manager.
• Experience in financial work and management within a government agency.
• Experience in conducting business development related to economic models and economic systems.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Be thorough, efficient, and communicative, and have good initiative and collaboration skills.

About the process:

The assignment is full-time (100%) and will start no later than June 1. The assignment will be carried out on site with some scope for remote work and is expected to last for approximately 6 months.
