Interim Head of Forecasting

Main responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: Develop and implement forecasting strategies that support the company's overall goals.
• Operational responsibility: Ensuring effective forecasting processes and high-quality forecasts.
• Personnel responsibility: Lead and coach the forecasting team (approx. 20 employees).
• Process development: Drive improvements in forecasting models, tools, and methods.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with functions such as Purchasing, Campaigns, Category, and IT to optimize the flow of goods.
• Change management: Lead the transition to new systems and working methods, including communication.
• Monitoring and reporting: Responsible for KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, MAPE, OTIF, and Service Level.

To be eligible for the role:

• Do you have at least 10 years of experience in supply chain and forecasting?.
• Do you have solid experience of forecasting within supply chain, preferably in fast-moving environments such as grocery retail or FMCG?.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience with personnel responsibility.
• At least 5 years of experience working with forecasting models, statistics, and planning systems.
• Experience in change management and system implementation.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in translating data into business insights.
• Do you have good communication skills and can translate complex messages into clear and understandable language for internal stakeholders?.

About the Mission

The assignment is expected to start immediately on a full-time basis and is expected to last for 6 months.
