Interim Search has been commissioned to fill a role as Interim CFO for a public sector company that has a vision to drive projects in a large number of areas of development. The company has over 200 employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 1.5 billion. The assignment will be carried out in close collaboration with the CEO and the company's other management.

Main duties:

  • The consultant will work on developing financial models for a mix of different project types.
  • Work on developing an initial business plan covering the first 3-5 years of operations.
  • Evaluation and selection of financial systems in collaboration with the company's foundation.
  • Preparation of the budget for 2024 and assisting the project manager and CEO with material and documentation for board meetings.
  • In addition to the usual CFO duties and traditional financial management tasks, the role will also involve weighing up and making decisions based on the circumstances in a range of complex situations.

 

To be eligible for the assignment:

  • Must have completed a degree in economics or equivalent.
  • Must have at least five (5) years of experience in both operational and financial management.
  • Must have at least five (5) years of experience as CFO, finance manager, or finance director for a business with a turnover of at least SEK 200 million.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience in strategic business planning, where the consultant has played a central role in the development and implementation of the business plan.
  • Must have at least five (5) years of experience in organizational and operational development.

 

Meritorious experience:

  • Have extensive experience in the areas specified above under mandatory requirements.
  • Have experience of developing financial systems for monitoring project finances.
  • Have experience in both private and public sectors, as well as several years of experience working on corporate boards.
  • Have several years of experience in a role as administrative manager for large-scale operations.
  • Have experience of running your own business and have operational experience of developing and implementing administrative processes and
    working methods.

 

About the process:
