Interim Search has been entrusted with appointing an interim Business Controller to an organization within the exhibition and conference facility sector, based in Stockholm.
Main duties:
- Together with a Business Controller colleague, you will be responsible for planning, driving, and coordinating forecasting and budgeting processes, ongoing analyses, and
compilations and internal reporting. - Work closely with business planning processes, for example, ensuring that those responsible within the organization deliver the right content at the right time.
- Presentations at department meetings, management team meetings, and leading training courses related to finance, financial processes, and systems.
- Act as a sounding board for project managers and managers responsible for results in the organization in matters relating to budgets, forecasts, and follow-ups.
- Proactively suggest solutions and improvements during the process with an operational perspective in mind.
- Together with your Business Controller colleague and CFO, you will be responsible for ensuring that budgets, forecasts, and follow-ups of overall results are delivered to company management.
- Proactively work on further developing reports and continue implementing Power BI by connecting new data sources and user groups in the organization.
Who we are looking for:
- Have an academic degree in economics.
- Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in business controlling and working with operational/business plans, budgets, forecasts, and results.
- Have experience as a user of MS Power BI or equivalent tools for reporting and visualizing data, including building and publishing reports.
- Be an advanced user of Excel, including experience with pivot tables.
- Ability to pragmatically identify needs.
- Be fluent in spoken and written Swedish.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time, with a desired start date in April, and is expected to last 16 months. The assignment is expected to be carried out on site, but there is scope for one day a week to be worked remotely.
