Interim Search has been entrusted with appointing an interim Accounting Manager to a privately owned international industrial company based in Gothenburg. You will report to the CFO and have two subordinates. The company has a turnover of approximately SEK 700 million and 250 employees.
Main duties:
- Indirectly responsible for ongoing accounting, VAT, invoicing, and accounts payable.
- Responsible for overseeing daily accounting, preparing financial reports, and ensuring that the company complies with applicable laws and regulations.
- Leads the accounting team and is responsible for developing and implementing effective accounting processes.
- Important role in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of financial information.
- Develop the unit together with the CFO.
To be eligible for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent.
- Experience in consolidated accounting and highly knowledgeable in accounting for international companies.
- Experience in transfer pricing and product costing.
- Experience working in a complex ownership environment (privately owned company).
- Analytical skills and extensive experience with Excel.
- Experience with M3 and AARO consolidation tools is an advantage.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time and is expected to last approximately 6-8 months, starting immediately. The client would like the assignment to lead to a permanent role, but this is not a requirement.
