Interim Senior Purchaser

Robin was recently hired for a change management assignment through Interim Search. The role was as a senior buyer and involved building a completely new purchasing team at a manufacturing company. He also conducted a comprehensive review of the company's purchasing processes and supported the product team in the pricing process. Robin is accustomed to personnel responsibility, and in this role he was also responsible for seven reporting employees. His previous career stretches back a long way, with many senior positions in the field of purchasing. His assignments are often characterized by some form of change, and he is accustomed to dynamic environments and building processes and teams from the ground up. Robin enjoys working operationally and closely with suppliers and employees to optimize purchasing processes and purchasing strategy.

Robin has in-depth knowledge of the entire purchasing process – procurement, negotiation, and supplier evaluation. He thrives in both small and large organizations.
