Johan has a background as a salesperson in service companies, as well as in IT and telecommunications. He was a skilled salesperson and, in one of his later jobs, was promoted to also have leadership and coaching responsibilities for a small team. The teams and roles have grown since then, and two years ago Johan decided to test his wings as an independent consultant. Today, he works exclusively at the management team level, contributing his strategic expertise. Johan is often hired by clients who need to improve and digitize processes to achieve sales and business goals. Most recently, he was hired for nine months at a tech company and conducted a comprehensive review of all flows and operations in order to develop processes, routines, and working methods at a later stage. When he left the assignment, new business support and a smaller proprietary system had been implemented with the help of the company's own IT department. He also analyzed and highlighted goals and KPIs that had a major impact on the continued growth of the function. A total of 26 employees reported to Johan, seven of whom belonged to foreign offices.
