Interim Plant Manager

You will lead and distribute work within the production department and develop operations within your area of responsibility.

Main duties:

• Overall responsibility for work within a given production department.
• Based on given budget constraints and resources, ensure that the department's products are delivered with the right quality and as cost-effectively as possible.
• Ensure that the department has the right skills, where employees develop and receive continuous feedback on their performance.
• Responsible for a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Communicate the company's goals and vision, as well as seek and share knowledge and information with colleagues.
• Plan and lead department meetings.
• Employee interviews with subordinate staff.
• Salary discussions with subordinate staff.
• Personnel planning – recruitment and skills planning.
• Certification of hours and expenses for subordinate staff.
