Interim IT Manager

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Implement a new IT operating agreement and ensure delivery.
• Promote the IT unit's transformation journey to become a good purchaser of external IT services based on a new agreement.
• Responsible for support, operation, technology and system development of the association's IT systems, as well as for the development of system management methodology in accordance with pm3.
• Personnel, operational, and financial responsibility for the IT unit, as well as for the operational plan and its implementation.
• Budget and forecast the organization's IT operating costs and IT investments, and follow up on these.

To be eligible for the role:

• Relevant academic education or experience deemed equivalent.
• Several years of experience working with IT development and managing staff.
• Experience of change management and good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Several years of work experience with the pm3 management methodology or similar.
• Experience of IT operations outsourced to contractors.
• Experience working in public sector, politically controlled organization.

About the process:

The assignment is full-time, based in Västerås, starting on April 3, 2023, and continuing until March 31, 2024.
